I'm Luke Hietamaki. Born and raised in Townsville, I've been immersed in music for 20 years. My high school punk rock band, 'No One's Fantasy,' clinched the 'best band' award at the 2004 NQ High School Rock Awards (aka Battle of the Bands) and 'best original song' in 2005. I honed my skills playing at local pubs, bars, and private functions in the area for about 8 years. During this period, I also taught guitar at various schools, including Costa's original school, Sound Bound Studios.

In 2014, I moved to southeast QLD to complete a Bachelor of Audio Engineering and Sound Production. Afterward, I relocated to the Gold Coast to take up a position as a Live Sound Technician at Burleigh Bazaar, focusing on original music, primarily as the lead guitarist for the rock band Jollee. Jollee released several singles and supported bands such as Killing Heidi and Everclear.

With 15 years of experience in teaching guitar, I am now thoroughly enjoying my new venture into voice lessons at King Konz. I specialize in popular contemporary genres, particularly those that crossover with Rock. Students who take lessons with me can expect not only to learn the guitar but also to confidently progress in realizing their uniqueness as developing artists. See you at the school!
